We also give you a complimentary soap from Scottish soap maker Marie's Artisan Soaps , an artisan soap maker, vegan, ethical & eco-friendly, Marie uses 100% natural and organic ingredients in her products. All products contain Organic Certified and sustainable oils, Organic Botanicals, Natural Clays and Pure Essential Oils - We love being able to supply you with this Soap!
The cottage kitchen is equipped for self-catering. We supply kitchen cupboard basics including clingfilm, bin bags, cooking foil. Salt and pepper, oils and vinegars, commonly used dried herbs and spices, flour, tea, coffee, sugar. A few dishwasher tablets and washing powder, fairy washing up liquid
Sainsburys, Asda and Tesco will deliver groceries to the cottage, bear in mind the fridge in the cottage is an under counter fridge and not a large larder style fridge
Freezer – there is a freezer for your use in the garage. You will also find ice packs in here for use if you want to picnic. A cool box and picnic basket/bag are in the storage room.
Access to the cottage is by key which is kept in the key safe, we give you the code before you set off on your journey. If arriving at the cottage at night, there is lighting in the driveway but you may need a torch to key in the key safe code at the door, there is an outside light for the entrance but you have to get in first to put it on!
Bedding – pillows and mattresses have protector covers, both are changed between guests. All sheets are cotton and duvets covers and pillow cases are linen. The double bed has a feather mattress topper as well as a protector. If you have feather allergies let us know and we can make up the beds accordingly with synthetic duvet/pillows.
There is a plastic sledge for use in the garage – if there is no snow then you can sledge the sand dunes at Lunan Bay - great fun!
